Splintered Forest Tree Services is expanding and seeking a Qualified Supervisor to lead and grow our Plant Health Care (PHC) division. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced arborist or PHC professional who wants flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to shape a program from the ground up.

Position Overview
The Qualified Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Plant Health Care services, including diagnostics, estimates, treatment plans, applications, regulatory requirements and assisting with client communication. This role can be full-time or part-time, with a compensation package structured as salary or commission, depending on the candidate’s preference and experience.

Responsibilities
• Manage and operate all aspects of the Plant Health Care division
• Diagnose tree and plant health issues (insects, disease, soil, environmental stressors, etc)
• Develop and implement PHC treatment plans
• Perform or oversee chemicals and applications
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Communicate clearly with clients and provide recommendations
• Coordinate with crews and administrative team
• Assist with estimating and scheduling
• Maintain proper inventory of all necessary materials
• Be an integral part of the growth of a division


Qualifications
• Valid Qualified Supervisor (QS) license with the Colorado Department of Agriculture (required)
• ISA Certified Arborist certification (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL Class A, preferred)
• Strong knowledge of tree and plant health care practices including extensive knowledge of issues impacting the mountains such as Tussock Moth and Mountain Pine Beetle
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Senior Crew Leader

Company Overview:
Splintered Forest is a specialized tree care and wildfire mitigation company operating throughout Colorado’s foothills and mountain communities as well as the greater Denver metro area. Our work emphasizes forest (mountain and urban) ecology, wildfire risk reduction, professional arboriculture, and long-term land stewardship. Position Summary:
This is a hybrid role combining field operations (both plant health care and tree care), equipment and fleet maintenance, sales support, and onboarding/training assistance. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-focused, and capable of communicating effectively with management, crews, and clients.

This position is designed for individuals seeking advancement beyond field-only work is experienced and values a diverse set of responsibilities.

Estimated Work Breakdown:
• 50% Field Work (comprising both plant health care and tree care operations)
• 25% Equipment & Fleet Maintenance
• 15% Sales & Client Support
• 10% Onboarding & Training Support

Required Qualifications:
• ISA Certified Arborist
• Colorado QS License (Department of Agriculture)
• Strong knowledge of the urban front range as well as foothills/mountain pests and forest ecology systems
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Professional references

Preferred Qualifications:
• NFPA Certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialist Certification
• CDL Class A with air brake endorsement
• Felling and mechanical wildfire mitigation experience
• Small equipment operation experience
• Prior sales and leadership experience

Compensation & Benefits:
• $25–$40+per hour (plus overtime), depending on experience and qualifications

Plant Health Care Certified Operator

Splintered Forest is a family owned tree services company in Morrison, Colorado with a rapidly expanding Plant Health Care division looking to add a Swiss Army Knife to the crew - a Certified Operator (CO) that is experienced with Plant Health Care who might also assist on a fire mitigation site or a large tree removal as well.

Our crews get the opportunity to work on some pretty awesome job sites in the Foothills and throughout the Denver Metro Area. We use cranes, drive mini skids and are constantly looking for innovative ways to complete tree removals, fire mitigation, trimming and PHC jobs.

This position will work directly with the Splintered Forest Qualified Supervisor and together handle all of the necessary tasks to run a successful division - chemical applications, communication with clients, necessary reporting, inventory management and more.

Have a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (CDL a bonus, but not required)
